The Area
Rocha Brava is situated just outside the picturesque small town of Carvoeiro once just a small fishing village ,in the Lagoa region of the Algarve approximately 45 minutes from Faro airport.
Carvoeiro nestles around a sandy cove and offers a wide choice of resaurants and shops. Nearby small villages such as Benagil invite you to bathe in their beautiful cove and enjoy wonderful fish dishes at very affordable prices. Walk off your meal with a stroll along the lovely beaches or dramatic clifftops.
The roads along the Algarve coastline are easy to navigate and you can discover the many wonderful sandy beaches, with their dramatic rocky backdrops and clean blue seas. There are 10 beautiful sandy beaches within easy reach of Rocha Brava and many more further along the Algarve coast.
Driving up into the hills with lush green olive groves and orange trees offer a contrasting landscape with many lovely villages and towns to explore. You will also see many vineyards with their vines covering the terraced hills.
